Celebrating 22 years in business!
Nadine's Dance Center provides quality dance instruction in a healthy positive environment, encourages creativity, focuses on each student individually, and encompasses all areas of performing arts. We teach dance and performance skills that a student will use for a lifetime-but most importantly, we encourage self-confidence, friendships, and a dance family.  The studio offers Classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro/Tumbling, and Theater.

A lifelong native of Gloucester, she knew at a very young age she wanted to teach dance.  Nadine studied classical ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, pointe, and hip-hop.   After receiving a B.A. in Fine Arts Dance from Eastern Connecticut State University in '98 she returned to Gloucester in 1999 to pursue a teaching career.  Throughout college, she was a varsity member of the nationally competitive Dance Team, a member of the Repertory Dance Troupe, and served as President junior year and senior year.  Following graduation, she was hired by the University as the advisor, technical director, and choreographer for RDT and also taught in Connecticut.   Upon returning to Gloucester, she taught in Beverly, Gloucester, Danvers, North Shore Community College, and Hamilton-Wenham Public Schools.  Nadine established and coached the Endicott College Dance Team for 5 years.  After much traveling to teach, she opened Nadine's Dance Center in 2002.  Most recently she performed with Forty Steps Dance Company. Carrying out her performance experience, Nadine created an annual Nutcracker Production at the studio, now in it's fifth year.

BRENNA KENNEY graduated from Salem State University studying Early Childhood Education and Dance.  She trained at Donna Coco's Performance Plus in Salisbury, MA for fifteen years and was a member of the competition company for 10 years.  She was a member of the Repertory Dance Theatre at Salem State as well as a choreographer.  Brenna was also a member of the SSU Dance Team.  She opened for the Radio City Rockettes at the Wang Theatre in Boston in 2010 and has filmed for MTV dance research.  Brenna has had many opportunities to work with New York choreographers and attended the College Dance Festival throughout college.  In June 2015 Brenna traveled to Disney with SSU to perform and participate in their education program for aspiring professionals! She is performing in the Musical Legally Blonde in the summer of 2016.  She is excited to work with our kids for her 13th year!!  Brenna teaches ALL Company groups, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and private lessons at our studio.
